The new DC surge protective from manufacturer BREMAS is designed for photovoltaic systems and other DC applications. They are working reliable in many different projects.
This SAPV Series is available in 2 different versions:
Bremas SPD T2 600V 40kA with following parameters:
Maximum continuous operating voltage 600VDC;
voltage protection level <2,7kV; nominal discharge current (8/20µs) 18kA and
maximum discharge current (8/20µs) 40kA.
Bremas SPD T2 1040V 40kA.
same as above but with
maximum continuous operting voltage 1040VDC and
voltage protection level <3,5kV
Additional features:
according to standard EN50539-11, surge protective device Type 2 / Class II ((IEC61643-31); suitable für protection against inductive overvoltages /(tested at 8/20µs), included Metal-Oxide Varistor works as discharger element; remote signaling of the operating status condition, with changeover relay; local signaling of the operating status condition available at the front side, IP20 for the terminals, fixing on standard DIN rail (indoor installation). Easy
replacing of plug (SAXCPV60 / SAXCPV100).
